Hi all
I'm removing my starter motor to get the gear box changed, its a 1.9 diesel AAZ and a 5 speed 3h box,
I've undone the two bolts holding on the starter, moved the clutch slave a little out of the way, but the starter motor wont budge, not an inch, is it stuck on with gunk, I don't know. Before I hit it via a bit of wood and a hammer, is there anything else I should do/know?
Quick starter motor removal question

Re: Quick starter motor removal question
Thanks, hit it with a hammer, no movement, but a chisel did the job nicely of separating the metals apart and the starter motor was easily removed.
steady as she goes.
