This inlet elbow is trying my patience!
I have had to make a jig to approximate where the AFM connection is located in space (worked out from syncro inlet parts fitted to a DJ and using the exhaust port flange as a good datum) so I can work from there.
I think that there are too many compromises in trying to rework the 2wd elbow what with its compound angles and complex bends: there's still no space to get the crankcase breather and idle air feed into the joiner pipe and the throttle cable is too cramped, so I'll just cut the flanges off and use 70mm cast alloy 90 degree bends and straight pipe to put the throttle body where it really needs to be.
It'll be a better job in the end.ImageImage

Good luck with that!

Looks like I need to make a linkage to keep the DJ throttle cable in the stock location (standard service parts, no further issues) and then step up & across to connect to the VDE throttle body, in a properly engineered fashion.
This should do it.

They did mine a couple of years ago. Quick turnaround no complaints.

I've used this guy many times, last time back in November for a customer's vehicle, quick turnaround, value for money

Another vote for the Hull place. Nice to have Devizes as a backup option, so ta for t'link.

I'll try the Devizes outfit and report back, 12.50 per injector is very keep pricing.
