Ideal for when fitting a 5 or 6 cylinder engine into your van, without having to get the tacho circuit board reworked

Hehe - none taken! It's been a bit 'niche'.
What I did find out though is that the trim pot on the tacho circuit board has quite a bit of adjustment. I wouldn't be surprised to find that the standard 4-cylinder tacho can be adjusted to show 20% or 33% fewer rpm, to suit a 5- or 6-cylinder engine. It would need a means to check the adjustment though.
