fan belt fitting

Can someone post a pic of their fan belt fitted?.I am wondering if it fits on in a loop or around the pullys in a fig 8 ..Van 1.9D

Ok so OP means auxiliary belt. 1.9D suggests a conversion, more details needed for those who work on such things.

Do you mean does the water pump pully run on the face or the back of the belt?
It can be either because there are two water pumps available depending on application of engine one spins clockwise the other anti clockwise, the only way to be sure is to pull the pump and check the impeller.

Hi I have 1Z in my van the pump is turning clockwise
The question is how do you id if the impeller is clockwise or counterclockwise impeller????
