Up rated injectors

As above anyone fitted Mario's up rated injectors? Elvis I seem to remember you fitted some,any good,what sort of improvement?.

What are they for? Td in your sig or a Tdi?

Tdi ones are deffo worth the money, next size up from what one has, fettle IQ, little bit of smoke under acceleration and more smiles per hour, deffo big thumbs up

Td? Have spent literally hours trawling the internet over recent years looking for specs of IDI ones, the info just doesnt appear to be available re nozzle size/pintle lift. Not sure if Marios chap has managed to find the numbers but even numerous Bosch agants couldnt get the figures when i asked and look on vwdiesel.net and nuerous experts who dont know.

My opinion FWIW...........

Same as replacing oe bushes with polybushes.

If you replace something thats twenty years old with something new you are bound to get a 'wow' factor. Replace knackered/worn JX ones with brand new GTD ones and its easy to place the improvement on the 'sport' injectors. Could very well be down to just new/clean/fettles/balanced replacements.

If it was me would put in GTD ones in case they are bigger, might be, might not be. Either way well set up ones will see you grinning.

If its for a JX consider a GTD pump aswell, did it to my syncro and made a really big/noticeable diference.

Remember an old post of Baxters from 6 or 7 years back and he tested a few JX pumps, after 5 or 7 PSI IIRC the LDA didnt deliver any extra fuel due to design etc.

Definitely make it more responsive....pulls even better in higher gears.
Thought long and hard because my tdi was good anyway.....but a good investment and a good return pound for pound.
