i am thinking of buying a van that has already had the start or in the middle of a gti conversion , the van was originally air cooled. non of the wiring looks label'd is there a easy way to find out what goes to where eec through a diagram ? and what parts would i need to build a exhaust system ? and lastly would i need to uterlise the dashboard for all the warining lights eec , many thanks :ok

Your best bet is probably to look at the Brickyard forum under 'alternative petrol engines' where you will find a lot of info on fitting GTi engines and all the ancillary bits.

If you pm me your email address I will let you have a copy of the wiring info I compiled for my AGG engine conversion.
