i have no idea what the wire is for, but the correct battery is a "065" although a "075" and a "085" will fit and be a tad better in overall capacity

thanks for getting back to me the thing is i stopped it filling at 12litres , it was 10%,on the gauge before i filled but only read 50 % after - but later when i looked after travelling about 100miles it showed over 90%, however lasst night it reads 70% not enough difference in temp to change it tha...

you can slow them down to get it thro by adding more load . add a extra bulb to each side - not a cure but a way out ?

i'd opt for the fridge vent first, if the seal round the window really are good... try adding some food colouring to some water and dribbling it in..... only test to make sure its not going to stain anything first.....

worked for me finding a window seal that leaked years ago on a 4x4

gauge sender is the one you cant reach towards the front of the van, the other one is the sender for the inj sys brain. you only loose a cupfull when you change them if changing the sender makes no difference to the no gauge problem, short the two pins in the plug together and see if it goes upand m...

Only if you want to loose storage space in your van to accomodate a large gas tank :roll:
