M8 x 12mm

if you took out the drain plugs with a 5mm allen key they are M6x12 socket head bolts

if you took them out with a 6mm allen key they are M8 x 12mm socket head bolts.

Cant remember which as its been ages since i needed 100% of the water out.

looks like air filter was not fitted or  big air leak between filter and engine as lots of grit has got round the top ring land on that piston.

or the piston has been dropped when someone had it out before in the past.

or both

If you want a decent pump i bought mercedes C class pump off ebay

pumps emergency spare up to 60psi with not much effort.

pump was secondhand but unused and was £16 inc delivery.

i bought 3 chinese pumps off ebay previously and none would get past about 35 psi

My DG takes 4 to 5 miles to reach centre of temp gauge even with 80 degree thermostat.
which i prefer to the standard even in winter it reaches full temperature quickly.

I scored 2 new distributor caps and a rotor arm from the same guy
I prefer genuine ign parts and that was what i was searching for
when he asked if i needed any oil filters

cant read it all as only part shown in your piccy

Oil rings should sit on the spring ring tabs i think stu
