I've got the smaller bluebird custom one with 2 hoops and it fits fine. It's one of the better quality hoop awnings I've seen (reflected in the £165 price tag for the small one) and takes about 15mins to put up. In the bag its about the size of a large dome tent. Survived some serious wind at bank h...

Thanks guys - Steve do you have any contact details for campertech, their website doesn't seem to work? Cheers I'm afraid I'm not sure what the model etc (it's probably at least 10 years old) is but it's in fairly good nick and just the right size so I want to try and get it sorted! It's not a stand...

thanks guys - haven't got any further with this as yet (although VC and 4WD have been instated in the meantime :D :D :D ) so need to sort it ASAP. I've got loads of info (thanks Jake) now, so will compare the outcomes of this to those listed in syncro.org, brickyard tables and those at Protyre when ...

Tracking Settings (14" Syncro)
Hi all Tried to get my van tracked last week on a flash laser tracking system (laserline I think it was called). The software had six different settings listed (all for 14" syncros) depending on ride height, and differ from each other significantly. The 'ride height' settings are as follows (H=...

mine's running aaz manifold and turbo, in the same position as removed from the TOLEDO, although a fair bit of engine mount filing was required! It's currently got the standard oil return set up (into the block) and this hasn't resulted in any APPARENT problems (others report burning excess oil afte...

Bloody 'ell, didn't know this thread was still knocking around.... As driver of said van I can confirm that the gearbox does indeed seem all good. A little bit notchy going into 2nd until warm, but sweet as a nut after that. BUT, as for enjoying a large portion of AAZ power through all four wheels! ...

Servicing/parts for gas stove/grill?
Does anyone know where I can buy parts to service a gas hob/grill, or even get it serviced? I'm not sure of the make as it's a super cheapie off ebay that came out of a caravn (the only word I can see on it is 'cuisine'). Surely someone must sell parts for these things. It looks as though it needs n...

I wondered if a rear ladder could be easily modded to also hold a spare wheel - this'd end up not dissimilar to that $350 one on hacksawbob's telusplanet link (but loads cheaper, as there must be a few of these knocking around second hand?) This is one of my issues to sort out in the conversion of m...
