Frost do all you need
I’d definitely treat the inside as well, ethanol in fuel will rust the tank out from the inside :roll:

loosened The fuel line nut on the injectors a bit get someone to turn the engine over when fuel comes out round the nut do the nut up then do the same on the other nuts as fuel comes out normally it will then start

Poly bush your steering rack and maybe your anti roll bar bushes.
i have A high top van it’s lowered and poly bushes alround and it still moves about with the wind and pass large Vehicles but it’s much better than it was.
also get a four wheel alignment done.

Do you use a support from the turbo to the engine block this may help there’s a lot pulling down on the exhaust manifold, the turbo and the exhaust the one in the photo is home made not by me I still need to do it Image

It does have the lip I was planning on removing it the ply and covering would mean prying it out to much

As pictured above. Panel vans, kombis and early caravelles had those lips welded to push the panel under. Late caravelles and multivans had those tabs with holes welded to push the plastic clips into. Ok thanks I’ll have to make them, any idea how far they stick out where the hole is.? cheers :roll...

Hi I’m in the middle of fitting ply wood panel but can’t see any holes for the clips to go into on near side rear just 3 dimples which line up with the holes on the panel, is there some specific clip that glues in anyone got any photos of what should be there as a hole would probably letting water f...

I got the door cards well a complete set apart from behind my cupboards and they where a  poor fits had to sand the edges a lot to fit also sent the wrong sliding door card I have a 88 van and they sent a pre 85 one they will send me the 88 panel but want £35 to sent ended up make it myself
