Rock and Roll bed fitting

Hi folks. I am not at the point where I need to fit my rock and roll bed. I have the hinges and the ply. I also have an idea for the cushions. My query is: Is there a simple way to work out measurements and the way to fit it all together? I just want to fit it all together using the ply and then I c...

Re: Weight of interior

Can't save that much weight! I wonder though, as these vans do around 20mpg, does some extra weight really make such a drastic difference

Weight of interior

I just worked out the +/- weight of my new interior. (Domestic stuff from Howdens). Just 4kg less! Doors have to go on yet but I reckon it's not going to be that much more. Pictures will follow soon. :ok

Re: MDF units on ebay

Thanks for that Covkid. I had a go at a DIY job and I made a hash of it. The original set up was ok apart from the bed system (and the weetabix chipboard). I'm hoping for a full interior of a known conversion and work on that.

Re: MDF units on ebay

OK, plan 'c' . I may have the chance of a full Devon interior from a C reg pop top. Mines a high top. Would there be any problems fitting it? Thanks

Re: MDF units on ebay

Thanks Jim. This should be my last big job on a van. If I get another it will have to be fit for purpose from day one. I'm getting too old now! I have to get it right first time I would prefer a used interior from a van with a proper conversion but not having much luck at the right price. Don't like...

MDF units on ebay

Has anybody bought one of those MDF units off ebay? Around £300. I know they're MDF but apart from that does anybody know if they're any good? Pro's and con's comments welcome.

Flexible fridge flue vent pipe

I've started refitting my van interior. The fridge is now around 8 inches (sorry, I'm an oldie) away from original position. A flexible vent pipe from the fridge to the outlet on the van wall would be great. Is there such a thing? Thanks

Busy this week but will try. Just started putting my kitchen back in. Not too happy with it so far. :(

If I can be cheeky: Any chance of a pic with a view of the 'kitchen' units. No probs if not. Thanks

full width v 3/4 bed

Has anybody had both 3/4 and full width beds? Not at the same time of course!!! Just wondering what it's like cutting down on the amount of available space. Is it worth it? Does it make that much difference? Would appreciate a pic of a van with full width bed. One factor is that I am likely going to...
