I remember driving through yam yam land a couple of years ago and being stuck in traffic. Would have given anything for one of those. Luckily there was an empty lemonade bottle handy and no overlooking lorries!

Re: autosleeper vt20
I have considered looking to see if the bed could be made into a rock n roll by using the hinges you can buy......
Might as well take this opportunity to see if anyone thinks it would work. Anyone?

Yep. I love the layout of the van, but the bed is a major pain in the bum, if I am honest

Re: autosleeper vt20
No. Just 2 boards attached with hinges that get lifted out and then laid flat for the bed position and lifted up and "settled" into the upright, seated position. The upright position is maintained by a batten which stops the base moving forward and 2 "bathroom door" type bolts (g...

Re: Figure of 8 or pole and clamp?
I have used both and prefer the pole and clamp.......I just found the figure 8 annoying to set up, although it worked well without any leaks.
If you go for pole and clamp, make sure you get the clamps with the rubber on the inside or the metal will scratch the gutters.

I assumed from what he said, that the OP was having something like this fitted http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Weatherproof-IP56-UNSWITCHED-1-GANG-EXTERNAL-INDUSTRIAL-DIY-GARDEN-SOCKET-9704-/181428394596?pt=UK_BOI_Materials_Supplies_Electrical_ET&var=&hash=item2a3df99a64" onclick="window...

Re: Hookup socket in the garden?
I see what you mean now.
I wondered if this would help the OP, as he would only need to get the original socket fitted as planned and could then use this to plug the van in when needed.

Re: Hookup socket in the garden?
I've got one outside - no leaving door to the house open whilst working on the drive. I have a hookup lead permanently connected and just use a hookup lead to normal socket adapter for tools outside. Well worth having as you can leave the house secure whilst you are charging up the batteries in the...

Re: T25 awning
http://www.khyam.co.uk/detail.asp?p=740&product=Motordome%20Classic Thank me later. :D Aye....this is possibly the king of the awnings. Is quite expensive but very easy to put up. There are cheaper options, but without the easy up system. Pole and clamp system is probably the simplest way of at...
