Re: PWM Heater Blower Modification

Not sure that you have to remove the dash, I would have though that there is no reason why the PWM feed could not be connected to the cable that is the fastest setting as this goes direct to the Motor. Remove the switch and replace with the potentiometer and Leave the resistors in place as they are...

Re: Instrument unit

Ahh yeah, I have since long time ago now binned the blue foil as it was failing, I opted for a Gowesty replacement board, and the original indicator bulb was knackered aswell. But now all back to normal. To be fair it doesn’t look that bright but then I suppose it might do in the dark. We shall see....

Re: Switching a high top to a pop-top van possible?

So it would have been 3K but with all the welding around the roof is was close to 4k all in everything. i made the plunge as im not selling the van and keeping it until i can no longer, plus everything else i do on the van i do myself now but this was a bit out of my scope to do.

Re: Switching a high top to a pop-top van possible?

Swapped my hightop for a Spaceroofs Elevating pop top, and everything was done by pete..even the welding in of rusted out parts on the roof.  I didn't want the job of doing it so went to him and he done everything from start to finish.  Was worth the spends in the end. https://i.ibb.co/6JkqnRZ/IMG-1...

Thanks m8, my bad for pointing the wrong direction for the engine number...assumed it would be on same side

Re: KY 1.7d Timing Belt Replacement

I have recently done my timing belt on my 1.7D KY engine, bought it from Brickwerks and went to the section on their website and chose that one, fitted it and job done....didnt even look at how many teeth.  As rob says think your first port of call is to determine the correct engine you have and the...

Re: What engine?

Thank you everyone - just one last puzzle. I wonder if the original 1.9 petrol gearbox is still installed - and if so would this be appropriate for the 1.6 diesel? do you know what code it is, the code is located on the nearside, and look for a flat surface near to the end of the ribs looking forwa...
