Ash, did you get tyres? I have 16x7 et 33. Am thinking 40mm studs with closed end nuts.

My slight concern is did I overfill by putting 3.5ltr in on top of whatever was left in it...

It’s not that complicated to take out but helps to have either a scissor jack or trolly with some wood to spread the load[emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using ...

Elite don’t recondition as much as put a bitsa together and cross your fingers. Andrew takes great care and produces a highly professional and reliable machine. He took very good care of my van!

I’m running a 091 DT code gearbox on an AGG engine with diesel linkage and a diesel mount which sits the gearbox nose higher than petrol. Re: Co Post jacking point fun

I've decided to use the proper vw lower repair panel
Just don't want to weld it on too high and risk melting the westy stickers.

Re: Rear jacking point repair.

I know, that's the good thing about doing one side, it makes you realise the other is probs just as bad or worse. I'm trying to decide whether to fo what you've done or whole quarter.

Re: Rear jacking point repair.

Good job, doing the same just now. It's satisfying to get the JP and inner areas strong.
