What you could do, us to fit a battery isolation switch. There for adding an extra cable and gaining the length you need Also adding security against theft. You could use that foil bubble wrap insulation. The foil gives you the vapour barrier.

you dont need to go 18 inch for that. just up the sidewall ratio a bit. ie 65 or something.

with all this potential messing aroung, why not visit your local deisel specialist and ask for a bit of on site advice. they arn't genrally that expensive for an hours abour to check pump timing etc.

sounds like a hell of a lot of work and expense for not much gain.

the short origional ones will come out just about. but longer ones wont go back in. so you might aswell remove the hub first

I paid £50 for my Samsung Netbook. It's great. Which model do you have?
