Re: uprated brush pack for alternator?

Just a thought Em, (and I really don't know a lot about it) does your solar charger have a reverse discharge protection to prevent it loosing battery charge at night. The thought that darkness will suck power out of your batteries is an odd one but I have read about setups that seem to include them ...

Re: horn earth wire

From memory the brown wire pushes on to a spade on the upper section of the steering wheel column then disappears down to the horn. I cant remember which route it takes though.

Re: Sump Plug Stuck

You could use a suction pump to remove the oil and never touch the sump. possible sludge build up. but give it a good run before you drain to get all the particles in suspension and I guess it should be OK.

Re: G13 Coolant for T25?

there are two tanks header and top up, if you mean top up tank behind the number plate flap, this could easily remain unchanged if there is no demand for a refill from the system. check the header tank on the right hand side of the engine bay (with the dalek cap) for a better idea of the state of yo...

There are quite a few variations on left hand right hand diesel petrol etc, get it from brickwerks otherwise you will probably be going back and forth to the likes of GSF trying to get the right one.

Re: Torque wrenches reviews

Went for a teng one as I was over a barrel and needed one quick. It looks the part, and didn't snap the heads off which after the week I've had was well worth the extra! How do they get calibrated by the way? Is there any way to do it at home without a reference wrench?

Re: Square inner headlight adjusters - workable solution

I have gone down the route of a 13mm bolt washers X3 nuts to hold the outer, its a pain to adjust but once its done its not going anywhere!
