Westy LPG regulator leak
I have noticed a very small leak of gas from the regulator on my westy gas tank. It's from the small orange button shaped part. It does seem to have a very small vent hole in it. Not sure if this is fixable but I thought I would ask before forking out €65 plus shipping from Gunzl. http://i243.photob...

I don't have an Autohomes but isn't there an external vent that can be to removed so you can access the exhaust?

Re: Rear brake adjuster position
It's definitely in the Haynes manual. I fitted it the wrong way and after adjusting up the brakes it would slip out of position. Lots of head scratching and a check it the Haynes manual I realised my mistake.

Yes, it sits at the rear just above the salad compartment.

Re: installing solar power in a westy
I didn't fancy having the controller on display as it was quite bulky and would mean I would have to drill holes in the face if the furniture. Instead I have installed a volt and ammeter and used the existing hole from the previous Eber timer. All checked and reads pretty much bob on. http://i243.ph...

Re: CR50 Fridge
No. There is a drip tray. If you don't want to use the drip tray then you will have to let it drain somewhere.
Do not put any parts of the fridge in a dishwasher. My wife put the drip tray in the dish washer. We now have a shiny new one. Common mistake apparently.

Re: Westy BBB charger stopped working
Don't know. I binned mine when it broke and replaced it with a Ctek.
I'm sure there is a thread on here about repairing them but I haven't got time to look as I'm at work.
Sure the thread was by California Dreaming - Martin.

Pretty sure there is a glass fuse inside. Also there is a thermal fuse.

Re: Solar split charging
That's a Sterling charger.
In another van I used to link the cigarette lighter sockets as 1 was from starter and the other from leisure. Just make sure there is a fuse in between.

Re: Solar split charging
I use a simple cable with a 15a fuse to connect the starter and leisure batteries together if the camper is going to be laid up for a while. All batteries are then kept topped up from the solar panel. http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/ff66/ninjaturlte007/Mobile%20Uploads/7becbf71-1d6c-4f3e-91e8-819...

Re: Digital Volt/ammeter setup question
I am sure that in the guff that came with the one that I tried it said that it wouldn't work correctly without using a separate power supply. It needed a reference voltage that was different to that of the current carrying cable. Mine died before fitting so didn't get to test it for long and wasn't...

Re: Digital Volt/ammeter setup question
I have a similar problem. Mine didn't come with instructions though. After some head scratching I had it working perfectly on the bench. I fitted in the van with the gauge about 1.6m away from the the shunt and the reading was 50% lower than it should be. I tried to adjust the pot on the back and it...
