As said that's right. I might be doing this wrong but I only use 1st as a crawler or hill start gear. I use 2nd for all other starting.

Are the vw ones obsolete? If not try vw, most dealers have a parts department.

Deffo a leisure drive top, same as my mates. Should have a rail around the flat bit. Think they might havel done different styles though as there are pics on Internetwith different shaped windows.

12v is generally used while driving then switch over to gas or 240v when on a site.
If it's working efficiently the fridge will stay cold for a few hours after a good drive.
