Re: Gear linkage to gearbox
Hi,
Yeh sorry it is a DK box, might be interested in one of those then Billy! how much?
As i understand it, the gear linkage comes in sections. I just need the very end to the rear of the van, that attaches to the box.
Cheers!

Can you identify this gearbox code?
Hi Guys,
I'm looking to buy a gearbox off a guy and he says the only codes he can see on it are:
wwo ks 2 and 091301211 wwo
It's advertised as a T.reg .T2..2litre and i want it for my 2.0CU engine. It's a 6 rib.
Any ideas if it's a DK/DT?
Cheers.

Re: CT head gasket gone
Well went out tonight to make a start, loosen a few bits and bobs, and a couple of hours later i had it on the floor! :P Challenge with only 1 pair of hands but was most enjoyable. Now on to the next video! Cheers Sarran, video was a great help, especially the axle stand under the gearbox, Wouldn't ...

Re: CT head gasket gone

Has to happen this weekend though as it needs to be up and running again by the end of the month and i need to make a shopping list yet! Once i got the engine apart i'll...

CT head gasket gone
Hi guys, Think one of my head gaskets gone on my 1600 a/c CT (lost compression, oil everywhere, back firing, starts but wont idle). Can anyone point me towards a new head gasket? I've looked on JK and a few other sites but can't seem to see one for my engine :? Also would like suggestions on other t...

Re: 16" Granada wheels
What a coinsidence. I've just come on here to ask the same thing! I've test fitted one on the front but they arn't big enough to go over the grease cap. there's a lip round the centre that pretrudes and catches on the grease cap. This lip can be knocked out with a piece of tubing and hammer and then...

Re: Have a look at my engine 1600CT
Hi guys sorry not looked at this thread for a while. Oil change is done but i'm still loosing oil, mainly from the oil cooler i've found now. Gotta sort that out before i can see about any other leaks! Think i need a new cooler now as i've tried new gaskets/seals. Is the crank oil seal a big job to ...

Re: Oil leak from oil cooler
Ok i have replaced said gaskets but it's still leaking so gonna do the actual cooler this time. Seen one on ebay for a 2.0CU engine, will it fit my 1.6CT engine?
If someone can reply by 3 days and 14hours time, that would be appreciated
Many thanks,

Oil leak from oil cooler
Hi guys, I've tracked the cause (or 1 of the causes!) of my oil leak on my 81 1.6 CT engine. The oil cooler is spitting oil from the front (front being nearest to front of van), so i'm guessing maybe a missing sealing ring or perished gasket in there somewhere. Will hopefully be able to wip it off t...

Re: Is this what i need? Stripped oil sump plate bolt
Sorry i laways forget to put details on  It's on a 1981 CT1600 engine T25. As far as i know same parts as the T2 and T1 engines in relation to the sump plate etc. The bolt in question is one of the 6(?) nuts/ bolts that hold the sump plate on. 2 of which are nuts which screw onto a stud and th...
