an easy way to tell if your van came from factory with alloys! it WILL have a slightly different wheel carrier ( and bars I believe) to the standard one.! its only the front bracket that's different. I have always sold my 'full' sets of alloys (x5) with the spare wheel carrier ! not that anyone ever...

as above , although you have no 'fan belt fitted' lower belt goes to the pump , alternator belt comes from the pump to the alt undo the bolts on the pulley , adjustment is via the shims. DO not throw away unused shims , put them in front of the pulley you may have a system that's only got one belt f...

petrol and 1.6 non turbo diesel vans have the same fan 1.7d and 1.6td vans have the bigger fan there is no direct need for the bigger fan on a standard vehicle unless you have other problems you can fit the later fan but you will also need the wiring loom and possibly the fan switch also note there ...

its easy to fit the standard bits and no probs if it goes wrong .
find a breaker with a van to go , so you will have all the bits . maybe able to fit it all as well.

its not just a 2.0 every other model apart from the early 1600's have servos fitted and hydraulic clutches and all the bits are the same , slight differences in how the pipe connects to the engine and auto brake resivor. all but very early master cylinders have 2 brake light switches as well the man...

and no need for a filler cap . the system will bleed very easily if its in good condition .
biggest problem with the diesel is they don't get hot , so you may never here the fan cut in!

k seal may cause future problems , blockages ect so not always good if you intend keeping the van!

from memory they will fit , although your rubber hoses will need to be stretched over the radiator pipes as yours will be smaller.
you will do away with the pipe that drops down the side of the rad as that's built into the later ones

as above direstly jump the solenoid at the starter , this will eliminate any wiring problems between the switch and battery.
use a jump lead as an earth between body and engine.

you will either have an already bent gearstick or some adjustment needed
from factory there is plenty of room
get someone who knows what there looking at to have a look for you first.
