Re: installing solar power in a westy
Had a day yesterday on my new install. I was concerned that although the solar panels were low to protect them, wind drag and all that kind of shizzle that was in mind when setting them a bit lower I decided to just notched them up flush to the top of the rack to make the most of them because it was...

Re: Westy hob dimensions
Hi My van is at t3volution and I can't measure it myself.. Could someone tell what the dimension is of the two hobs combined? I'm looking at buying a cast iron, rectangle, hot plate and it would be good to know that it will fit! Hot plate is 50cm x 23cm. I'm worried it is too long.. Thanks I found ...

Re: T25 awning - Fiamma or Omnistor
The ARB isn't an awning in a bag like the caravanstore things. The cover is a HD water proof material but it is sandwiched between two aluminium sections so won't tuck under your roof. It is a gutter mounted fitting using our own CVC brackets that we have had fabricated especially for the job. If yo...

Re: T25 awning - Fiamma or Omnistor
Have you considered an ARB awning? I just took my Fiamma off as just about every part of it is broken due to all the catches being made of plastic. The ARM awning is not a caravan awning that is tough and made in Australia not Italy. They were designed for the 4x4 market and once the awning is fitte...

Re: Anyone use an ARB awning/sun canopy?
One of the reasons CampervanCulture.com developed the ARB awing fitting kit for the T25/T3 van is because we just were not happy fitting caravan parts from Italy to our vans, we want tough high quality stuff from Australia. Since we started CVC we have done a fair bit of travelling and have been exp...

Re: waeco in a westy interior?
Was there a thread of fitting a Waeco fridge in a Westy interior? I'm sure I read one ages ago....... If you are really into getting a Weaco we have one here that has a scratch on top of the door. It is on the very top and you can only see it with the door open and a discreet sicker or touch up wil...

Reminds me of making this ages ago when on a pretty standard camping weekend with Russel and Jake The "Hit Zone" looks about spot on.

Can't you fit a bash guard? looks a bit venerable hanging there on a Syncro.
