Re: Brake pipe flares?

Yeah, I know when I listed these that there would be limited appeal for them. https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/brake-pipe-set-t3-2wd-front-to-rear-2pc-kit-with-joiner.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The prices are calculated on the amount of bends, there are quite a lot of ...

Re: Brake pipe flares?

Not the tidiest I agree however it shouldn't cause any issues and should clamp down nicely. It looks like it's been done with a flare tool for SAE 3/16" rather than the DIN 4.75mm flare used on German stuff, the bottom side should be flat. Here's a good link to explain better than I can. http:/...

Re: Got an electric fuel pump on a DG or DF?

Had 'em on my desk for months, did a 2.0l Aircooled a few years back with one, been great and worked as it should and continued to do so, so though i'd get some more, ended up in the pile of things we need to list and got buried! Was looking for something else the other day and stumbled across them,...

And why we have our own made..
We do have all the components to hand make sets from Beru components however they work out quite expensive!

We've got these. https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/ht-lead-set.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Unfortunatley the owner of the company that made our HT leads has retired and the business split up and sold off. We're just talking to another manufacturer at the moment, it will ...

Re: advantage of reclassifying minibus to camper ??

My understanding is that a Caravelle is a passenger vehicle as opposed to a van and it will have a chassis number starting with wv2 zzz( I think a van starts with wv1zzz). My understanding is that a t25 starting with wv2zzz would already be permitted to travel at 70 on dual carriageways. Can anyone...

Re: Header Tank Caps

Blau internals are the same as VW, just the outer that's different. Blau were the OEM for VW. Quack or lack of quack doesn't mean the cap has failed, once full of coolant they tend to be muted.. Just sounds like there are other issues to me, they aren't called wasserleakers for nothing. Cap needs to...

You don't need a waterpump nor any coolant to change a belt. Waterpump isn't timing belt driven.

Re: 1.6td Alternator Belt

Sounds like a 90a you're having trouble with. Trouble is that "New" 90a alternators have a hole (for the long bolt) for 10mm whereas the bracket and the original alternator are M8. You put an M8 bolt through a hole designed for a 10mm bolt and the alternator cockles over to one side and th...
