Re: Gas struts for Reimo roof
Hi You could also try a Reimo UK agent - http://www.nomadcampervans.com/reimo/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Their workshop mgr was happy to talk me through the installation process - they are not easy to fit! Top tip - use a thin webbing strap to compress and hold the st...

Re: Rear hub runout
Hi
Back plates seem OK - not rubbing on the drum
I'm not really sure which part of the hub could be bent. Stub axle would take some force! I assumed it was the part that carries the five wheel nut studs? Run out was measured on the outer face / edge.

Rear hub runout
Hi My brakes stop the van well enough, but the pedal pulses noticeably. The van will judder when braking hard or from higher speeds - it feels the same as a warped disc. Last year I fitted new discs, pads and carriers to the front, and the year before, new drums to the rear, but there was no improve...

Re: MIG gas
Hi Have you had a look at http://www.mig-welding.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;? Loads of great tutorials and videos on there. Any spray paint stuff too. Apart from structural areas, most steel on a T25 is 1mm thick, so as a beginner you're not going to be able to lay...

Re: 4bike rack help please
Hi
You can build a 4-bike rack by combining parts from a Fiamma T25 and T5 rack. You have to drill and cut some tubes, but the end result is sturdy and retains all the benefits of the fiamma system.
Cheers

Re: Intermittent starter problem
Hi I had the exact same problem earlier this year. I checked / replaced all the earth braids and cleaned up the trigger wire connection, but there wasn't much improvement. Then I bought a new (recon) starter which seemed to work for a month or so but the problem came back. I then fitted a 'hotwire' ...

On my van, the paint code is on a sticker in the drivers side foot-well, on the bulkhead directly above the accelerator pedal

You might also find that the seat belt mounting points are corroded once you get the side panels off

Re: newbie: child seating question
Hi A couple of years ago I fitted a Bluebird Customs 3/4 width rock and roll bed, and a pair of Brickwerks 3 point inertia belts to my t25. It all works fine at the moment but I can see I will have to change things as the kids get older (8 & 10 yrs old). The main problem is that the back of the ...

Cardboard shroud / baffle under radiator
Hi Have just finished repairing rust holes behind the front bumper 'bath tub'. I had to remove a flimsy cardboard baffle / shroud thingy underneath the radiator, which has disintegrated beyond repair. They are £40 a set on ebay / brickwerks - can anyone recommend and alternative DIY shroud (just the...
