Re: Wales for the first time
The Bus Types show is in the middle of April about 1 mile from the Welsh border, perhaps you could incorporate this in your trip.

Re: Fitting a westy pop top
If you're going down the route of keeping your current roof, as opposed to grafting the westy flat roof on, as mentioned on the other thread, I've got some photos of our roof when our westy pop top was removed. I've got pics of where the rear bracket mounts to and of the bracket itself, unfortunatel...

Re: Our body work story.
The progress the past week or so:- That very dented, filled and partially rotten rear corner panel has been replaced. That was a complete nightmare because the upright bit between the large panel and the corner was twisted and rippled, this has also been replaced. The tray bit has been repaired and ...

Re: Vinyl suppliers
Looking good too StuM
My vinyl has also arrived for around the windows etc, I'm due to start cutting it out tomorrow. It will be a few weeks before I can stick it in the van, I will post some pics when I do.

Re: T25 Awnings?......
I've been looking at the Navigator Kombi as it runs parallel to the van instead of at right angles - might be easier to squeeze into smaller pitches? Need an internal tent for little ones to sleep in............ Around £280 though - anyone seen anything similar but cheaper? I've found this one, The...

Re: Vinyl suppliers
That looks good, very original and nicely done.
Why did you choose vinyl over painting it? I've seen a bus on here with a white painted dash, a link is on 'T25 metal dash' I think. I see a trend starting.

Re: Fitting Westy poptop or Hitop
The people that bought our westy poptop fitted it to a tin top. I think they cut the whole between the B and C post and built a platform on the rear of the metal roof for the bed.

I've just found these, Campershop have different roof seals listed and assorted shaped ones at the bottom of the page. Not sure if they are of any help.

Re: Westfalia Multivan interior.
That is the same wardrobe. Ours has a hanging rail and a shelf in it. It's only suitable for hanging very short things, lol. That kitchen unit is very clever. Is that a fridge or a coolbox? What does it run on? So the basic history of our camper looks like this- It started life as a multivan, someon...
