Yes-it's possible, yes- it's been done... but I've yet to be convinced that these vans are realistically worth converting. If you download the maps first you only need GPS and mobile data for up to date warnings. The maps update monthly. This means you use very little data alowance.

Hmmm, had it on for three hours today and no speed indicator, I’ll go find a update ..... never could understand why it didn’t have a speed readout , yet it tells you limits ( often incorrectly ) I have started to use Waze, it tells you so much more, speed which changes colour when you exceed limit...

Pole and clamp is far more practical as a small amount of awning can be rolled up before attaching the pole.
this means that you do not need to park in exactly the same place and always have a tight fitting awning.

I fitted a small pop up roof they supplied everything pop rivets screws the timber for the trim around the hole cut out and carpet to trim the cutout.
Plus all templates.

Check the bulb.
Pull 2 wires off the gearbox switch and short them out.
Makes it easy to check for voltage.

PVA watered down is a cheap and easy waterproofing and no chance of cracking when bending.
