Re: Gas Analyser
Yes, that's the one. Is there no point in the Gunson? Should I just take it to a pro to tune the carb and save myself the 80 quid?

Gas Analyser
I'm sure Bubba is running a bit rich so I want to tweak the carb. Is it worth getting a Gunson analyser? I mean if I take it to be done at a garage how likely is it that it will need doing again in the near to medium future? I also want to check the timing so the same question regarding a timing lig...

Re: Switch blanking plate
Ha! I never thought about that bottom switch being for the front fogs (that I don't have) however it does operate the rear fog light (just checked).
Thanks, I'll have to start contacting some breakers then.

Switch blanking plate
Hello, One of Bubba's previous owners previous must have had a toggle switch (for whatever reason). Unfortunately it has left a hole in the blanking plate and looks a right mess, does anybody know where I could get a replacement - I have searched everywhere! http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c285/Co...

Awning advice
Hi
I am after a new awning. I need one with a bedroom in and I prefer tunnel type tents as I find them easier to put up without any "help"!
Has anybody got a Royal Traveller Tunnel Driveaway Awning? It looks ok to me but can't find many reviews.
Cheers

Re: Rounded Cap End Bolt
Drilled it out, took me about 1/2 hour and several bits
Now I can't get the spring out! Spring compressors have it nipped right up but it won't come over the back lip - heads gone now so back to it tomorrow
Cheers for the help people!

Rounded Cap End Bolt
Help!! I got bored and decided to finally change the springs on Bubba. All was going swimmingly until I tried to remove the second cap end bolt on the upper ball joint and rounded the fecker... (I had cleaned it out and made sure the socket fitted perfectly first) I actually managed to crack it off ...

Sliding Door Gasket
Hi,
Any idea where I can get the U channel holds the lower seal to the sill? Mine is as rotten as hell and the rot is starting to spread so I want it off! It looks like it is only tacked on and probably wasn't painted behind hence the rapid deterioration!
Cheers

Steering Column - Help!
I think I made a boo boo! I just went to change my massive bus wheel for a Mk2 Golf GTI one, all was going swimmingly until the new one seemed to stand off a bit. So out with the palm of my hand and I gave it a slap - the whole thing dropped down - sweet I thought... Now I knew I would need to do th...

Re: New owner performance help?
For the previous 12 years I have been a company car driver and have been a little right footed! I'm currently in a Qashqai 1.6tdi and I thought it was a lumbering, slow chugalong motor - then I got my bus... I was always of the view that I wanted to get to my destination as quickly as possible, time...
