In addition to what has already been said, what are the symptoms and indications of a faulty tower and how can it be tested to find out if you do have a faulty one.

Could be an alarm system which remains active even in listening mode, internal light, radio backup to retain memory. Also has the battery been allowed to fully discharge as they rarely recover from this.

you were exactly right, turns out one of the spark plugs was filthy must have got some crud when sat. cleaned it off and fired straight up
another cheap fix that took far too long to find!

Gutters
Bit of an obvious one this but worth mentioning. Fitted figure of 8 awning fittings along with rubber tube inserts to hold them in place for my awning during the spring. Just to add, the leak appears where the oil settles when engine off. And looking at the gasket although in place and secured tightly it looks oily whereas the rocker cover on the other side is bone dry with no leaks.

And its back, annoyingly the leak is back in the same area albeit small. MOT due so wondering if it is a failure. If so will have to buy the more expensive silicone ones and hope they work. Do not understand why the cork ones are proving to be an issue as they are the standard and recommended fit.

Maybe worth giving the appropriate parts a good dose of WD40 to see if that improves the problem.

Don't understand what type of bumpers you have fitted. It is normally a case of unbolting them. Also it is worth cleaning and either wire brushing or sanding the insides before painting that area also.
