yes , same relay , same pins , same fit
just the 99 does a little bit more than a 19
try it with the 19 , like I said I have had it work with a 19 , but not very much but seems always works with a 99

you can make brackets so its out the way and things need unbolting to access, long enough delay to get a response I think

yes they all fit ,only the very early diesel (same as Aircooled ones) are different but around 1986 vw swapped the outlets for the side knee vents , from cold to hot! when you look at you box you will find the 'hot' out are blanked and the 'cold' out are used , opposite for 86 ish you can change for...

push rev counter into hole
run some wires
twist some wires together
start the engine
sit on the drive for about 10 minutes reving the engine and watch the revcounter go up and down

the dash housing is plastic and cracks easily . also the pcb can be come damaged , people who are not sure what they are doing do the most damage , pulling the dash off , connecting electrical items ect it can be a combination of things leading to the problem . the fact that yours works but may not ...

replacement das pods can be purchased for £50-£150
you keep your old speedo if its ok.
whats your plastic housing like? as you can just change the pcb board?

dash boards are about there are some different ones , dependent on age / engine / spec ect bits can be swapped if only a certain part is damaged. you can also keep your speedo so the mileage stays correct whats your van details? air / water cooled? petrol /diesel ? clock / no clock? rev counter? in ...
