Non starter

Think my battery has died but not sure! Tried starting the van yesterday Holdsworth 89 1.9 petrol and got a rapid clicking which I presume is the starter motor. Put jump leads onto my spare liesure battery and it started no probs! So charged the main battery all night and it seems to be holding a ch...

Connecting awnings

Recently went for our first camping trip (in the rain!). Connected the awning (Rpyal Traveller Tunnel) using the pole and clamps. The rains came and basically leaked through the gutter/pole and dripped into the van when the sliding door was open. So, tried the figure of 8 connectors cos we had them ...

Re: Manchester and Liverpool

Hi,

as far as the MEN goes you won't find anywhere near for camping as it's in Manchester city centre. Depending where you're coming from you could try the Bury area and get the tram into Manchester.

Re: Liesure Battery

The liesure battery seems to be charged but I'll check it. Have already got a spare if it's knackered. May try running the red wire across from the main battery tray to liesure battery and put a fuse in and see how it goes. Like you say leaving the main battery for lights etc..

Thanks again IJ

Re: Liesure Battery

Thanks Italianjob, Having looked at the wiring diagram and reading your plain English description (thanks for that) I have no red fused wire for the liesure battery just the grey fused as you said with a 35A fuse (should be 25!). What I do have is two red wires (no fuses) connected to the main batte...

Re: Liesure Battery

Liesure Battery

I've had my van three weeks now (Holdworth Villa). Just took a look at the liesure battery behind the passenger seat and the wire with fuse attached isn't connected (see pic)! I thought it was working ok cos when I switch the 12v on, on the Zig I'm getting a green light! Am I missing something very ...

Fridge

Hi, recently aquired a Holdsworth Villa 3. Trying to get the fridge working off the liesure battery. The dial doesn't seem to make any sense to me!

Re: Rot around windows

sent you PM Jim.

Just out of interest how much would it cost to have this sort of thing put right on the two rear windows (lets go worst case scenario)?

Rot around windows

Hi folks, I recently viewed a bus with a view to buying. It needed a few new panels, whole rear door and slider door skin which for it's age and price were to be expected but the thing that put me off was that it had substantial rot around the bottom of the rear side windows, the back two to the poi...
