Re: Avoid Boots Soltan Once suncream

Thanks for the tip-off.

Have you complained to Boots? See if you can claim for new clothes from them. They may take it off the market or print a warning to remove it before dressing again after use. You never know.

Re: help with holdsworth interior refurb

Hi, I have just had a full interior refurbishment done at a specialist upholsterer. He made me a full set of curtains and cushions (including the L shaped one) and re-trimmed the all-round shelf. He reupholstered the front seats and replaced the floor covering with good quality lino. The trouble wit...

Re: Water filler cap

Hi there, I have just bought a Westfalia 89 and it came without a water filler cap - does anyone know if the fiamma caps fit the space or does it have to be designed especially for the Westfalia? If so does anyone know where I can get hold of one? Thanks, Marette. Try Brickwerks. CLICK THIS LINK HE...

Re: Speedo cable broken AGAIN

I think the break in the inner cable is quite near to the speedo head as I can hear the broken end of it clicking as I am driving along. The whole cable does seem ridiculously short as it is very difficult to avoid kinks in it at some point. Another couple of inches would have made all the differenc...

Re: Speedo cable broken AGAIN

As far as I am aware, a circlip at the cap end, and a little clamp thing to hold the outer cable steady near the cap end.

Speedo cable broken AGAIN

Is it me? I bought my van in March this year, and driving it home from Carlisle to Liverpool. About 60 miles down the road the speedo stopped working following a bout of needle fluttering. It had worked perfectly up to that point. During the full service which followed my arrival home with the van, ...

Re: WHAT IS THE T25's 3 - POINT - TURNABILITY

Thanks for that. It always used to give this sort of info in the 'spec' section of owners' handbooks, but I can't seem to track it down. :|

WHAT IS THE T25's 3 - POINT - TURNABILITY

With standard wheels on a standard T25, What is the Turning Circle?

A:- Between Kerbs?

B:- Between Walls.?

Sorry, but cannot find info on wiki or this site.

(Please DO NOT go out and scrape your van on the wall just to answer these questions)

Re: 205/80R14 tyres on a T25?

Thanks for the welcome and the reassurance. At least I know I won't be wasting money on useless tyres. My old Lotiie (My 1968 Dormobile - so called because she was Lot No. 11E at the auction where I bought her for £230.) had a 1600 air-cooled engine with less than mind blowing performance. She coped...

205/80R14 tyres on a T25?

I used to own a 1968 T2 bay Dormobile to which I fitted some newish 8ply 205/80R14 tyres from a LT35 van which was being scrapped as it had died. (I got the tyres in exchange for towing the van to the scrapyard and weighing it in - I took the wheels off the van while it was in the air on the crane b...
