Best diesel leak off pipes ?
So my leak off pipes sprung a leak again today. Can anyone recommend the best ones to buy please, including end stop?
Fed up with the crappy eBay ones only lasting a few months.
Thanks
Nick

Re: Saab 9-5 Seats - One on Swivel?
There was a thread on here with a guy who used this swivel with his Saab seats. http://www.swivel-seats.com/mercedes-vito/merc-vito-viano-2004-on.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I can't find the thread again since the forum clean up, but I've just taken the plunge and o...

Re: Donor vehicle
I tried to sell bits off my donar Passat recently on eBay. Started bumpers, dash etc 99p no reserve, collection only. Most parts only made 99p so not worth the hassle. Shame really as I'd prefe to recycle, but doesn't seem to be much of a market out there for 90s car parts.

Re: Syncro JX to AFN mTDi swap
Hi. I dumped the AFN aux setup and used the Golf mk3 setup instead. This gives a much easier belt run and the alternator etc sits lower on the block so it fits better in the engine bay http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/pp44/NickBab_photos/Syncro/Engine%20swap/8729C7A1-A1FC-4A2C-A8C2-1017BF59FFCB_zp...

Re: AFN wiring
OK, sussed
G27, G2 are on the rear flange. Both the same sensor.
F95 is on the side flange although my sensor is a different part number 251919521
Wires match Andy's colours so all good.
Thanks for your help
Nick

Re: AFN wiring
Got it, thanks. I'll just leave them in, unused. So I'm just down to 1 stray JX loom wire now. I thought it was blue/green, but looking at the JX wiring diagram this suggests this goes to the coolant shortage sensor. Like you I thought this sensor was on the coolant bottle though so maybe I got the ...

Re: AFN wiring
Thanks again Lloyd, very useful info. I looked on the back of the head for the 0.3 pressure sensor but couldn't see one there. I didn't realise there was a blank. I'll look at the workshop today. I'm pretty sure the coolant shortage and run on wires connected to the back of the block near the coolan...

Re: AFN wiring
Thanks Lloyd, The wire colours I mentioned are the JX loom, the question was is there equivalent sensors on the AFN engine to connect these to? Looking at your reply I guess not. I couldn't find these through googling either. Not sure I understand re connecting the JX senders to the AFN engine? I al...

AFN wiring
Hi all, I'm making progress with my Passat AFN engine with Landy pump swap but have hit a bit of a stumbling block re the wiring. I've been googling for a while but I'm struggling to find the equivalent JX sensors on the AFN block. In particular the AFN equivalent for: Brown/red JX wire (Thermoswitc...

Re: Syncro JX to AFN mTDi swap
An update after loads more research, some trial and error and delays due to faulty parts. I made the mistake of ordering a Land Rover 300 Tdi pump pulley which was HUGE, much bigger than the original AFN. I researched and saw people had success with Mk4 Golf and Landy 200 tdi pulleys so I ordered bo...
