Best route to run speaker cables
I am looking at installing some rear spekers in my camper but dont want to run cables under the front rubber mats, is there an easy route to installl the cables thru the body panels ???

Idle Stabalising unit blowing
I have had a problem with my 1981 2.0ltr Aircooled petrol T25 relating to the Idle Stabalising unit. We replaced the unit but the second one has blown. I have opend up one of the units but can't see any blown caps or resistors, i assume the fault must be on one of the chips. The unit must be getting...

Toomanytoys you are spot on Thanks for replying to my problem "Engine will not rev" you were spot on with the little black box i joined the two connectors together and hey presto she will rev again. I assume the Idle stabaliser unit is the faulty part can you confirm this, or is it a test ...

Thanks for the feedback, i have just tested the carb solenoids and they have Voltage to them, and when i take the leads of and on you can hear them click in and out, so i assume they are OK. I have also checked the coil and it seems Ok. I am thinking of changing the carbs for the single carb ,twin c...

Taken fuel cap off but still the same, but what we have noticed is, when you start the engine it will rev up for a second and if i hold the throttle down and turn the ignition on and off it will rev up each time, could this be electrical and what part of the electrics should i be checking ???

Yep replaced that, also striped and cleaned fuel tank and replaced all fuel lines.

Engine will not rev
can some body advise what is wrong with my 2.0l ,air cooled 1981 T25. I can start the engine but it will not Rev, we suspected fuel stavation , so i striped down the fuel pump and it is functioning OK, we have also striped and cleaned the carbs,checked for Air leaks with carb cleaner, replaced plugs...

No problem being towed in to Glastonbury, they even have AA and RAC on site

Thanks for some of the positive feed back, i have decided to get the carbs fully serviced by Steff at manchester Air cooled, i will post a reply when the final cause and remedy are known.

Thanks for the replys, but i didn,t get a chance to set the carbs before Glastonbury, and paid the price, as we broke down 3 mile from the farm
and had to be towed in.
Looks like the best solution is to replace the twin solex for the single webber conversion.

Need a garage with rolling road to set Carbs
I am looking for a garage in the Warrington / manchester area that can set up and tune my Carbs on a 2.0 l air cooled 81 T25. I have been told, to set them up correctly the bus needs to be run on a rolling road to set the carbs under load condition.
