Re: Cab wind deflectors
Hi, I'm happy with these from JK. Forget using the clips. I couldn't get them to secure. Used a dab of black silicone adhesive instead. https://www.justkampers.com/cab-wind-and-rain-deflectors-vw-t25-1979-1992.html I concur, I got mine from the Polish manufacturer, and glued them in with clear silic...

Re: 2.0 CU with Dell 36 - Very fumey!
Hello and thanks for your message. Well you have at least given a realistic assessment of your motor 🙄 I am currently in hospital awaiting a pretty big operation. So your problem will serve as a welcome distraction. Yes, your biggest problem is the lack of a crankcase breather. I would suggest that ...

Hello, This is the part you need https://brickwerks.co.uk/product/rubber-steering-coupling-t3-iltis/ On my '81 T3, there are 3 of these couplings to change, the outer one was perished and cracked. I considered Polyurethane bushesfor the suspension, but found the OE rubber ones just fine. New drop li...

Re: Rocker Cover Oil Leak and Spares Resources in France
Hello, Well it is all there and nice and clean... :) Nice to see you using the magic string to pull the rocker covers.. So with new cork seals greased in place, the likely culprits for a leak are... distorted rocker box cover, or worn out ends on the retainer springs. Air-Cooled Bliss... 8) C...

Re: 2.0 CU Starting issues.
Hello, I am not going to discuss the size of your jack and where to put it.. If you remove the roadwheel, the job gets easier. I would suggest you concentrate on the fuel lines and filter.. the pump is probably ok... get the vehicle running Then PLEASE get that engine and bay cleaned up. Can...

Hello, I was in Reinosa, Cantabria 2 weeks ago.... snowy mountains and surfy beach.. :D So.. misfire on start up that goes away when warming up... Re: T25 2.0 CU Fuel Pump
Hello, That is the pump... Basically all VW flat 4 fuel pumps are variations of the same theme... The special mystery feature on this one is the spigot sticking out of the pump body. This needs a bit of fuel pipe to go into the lower tinware. It is there because the pump drive and lubrication is 'si...

Re: T25 2.0 CU Fuel Pump
Hello, https://i.imgur.com/9aDQ0eL.jpeg Well at least it all seems to be there... So once you have sorted your fuel feed problems, we can get this engine set up. If it ran OK before and is not leaking oil, then these are easy engines to work on..sort of.. Do you have workshop access? C...
