Re: CV Boot Split!
It may seem to be a bit counter-intuitive, but superglue works really well with rubber. Perhaps it's the poor choice of application and use that taint's it's reputation for some people? Superglue is recommended for joining o-ring cord, I can remember making non-standard seals as an apprentice workin...

Re: CV Boot Split!
In all the it takes you to to do a bodge like a split boot it will take probably 2-3 longer doing it properly. If in a rush and for a temp fix before its done properly then a split boot is the only way. Hope it holds for your travels. Is it a 'bodge' if it's only a temporary fix? The car failed it'...

Re: Brake fade
New pads need bedding in, but, what was the state of the old disks like? If they were badly worn, then the pads could only making contact on their inner and outer edges. I'd have a look at the disks first.

Re: Replacing 10mm With 9mm Valve Adjusters in DJ2.1 Engine.
The correct way to make them would be to use a deep case hardening steel. Have the threads copper plated to mask them off and prevent them becoming brittle when the heads are hardened. But how much to people want to pay for them? Be interesting to test them on a hardness tester, I know someone who ...
