Ah, is my van already slightly lowered?
I've had it for a while now, and for some reason I've started to look at it and think it is lowered. It's a 1989 Caravelle, with big bumpers. I think I've read somewhere that that model had slightly modified shocks? Here's a photo from today. I went around the London tourist sights (and some not so ...

We've got a 1989 1600 td that's just done us proud. Only had to top up the oil, and didn't use a litre over 2300 miles around France over 3 weeks. Channel tunnel crossing and down the east through Champagne region, Avignon, the Med, then across to the west via Carcassonne to Saint Jean de Luz (great...

doh! So that explains what the fog light switch on the dash does in the second position. First front fogs, second front fogs and rear! I have to email my mate with a Westy, we were trying to work it out at V festival. Always a good day when you learn something new about the van. Now if you co...

Rear Lights - Where's my bulb?
This is one of those questions where a lot of you will now straight away and laugh at the simplicity of some van owners (well me!) :D Just checked my lights on to see if they're all working, and noticed that the main passenger side rear was not working when I had the lights switched on. I removed th...

What tyres (brand) are you using on 16" alloys?
I've had a search around the forum's but didn't find anything about the brand of tyres people are using (apologies if it's there somewhere!) I'm probably getting 16" alloys this weekend that will need new tyres ie 225 50's or 55's. What tyres do you have on your van (brand)? Is everyone using t...

Rear Heater in a 1989 T25
Is it common to have a rear heater in a T25? I've got one underneath the rear seat in my 1989 right hand drive Caravelle CL. I've noticed the water level dropping slightly in top up bottle behind the number plate (expansion tank is ok) and that there's dampness around the rear heater ie where pipe g...

Buying from Midland Wheels
Thinking (and those who've seen my postings might realise I take a while) about purchasing new alloys and tyres from Midland Wheels. Anyone else done this? If so do they do the fitting for you, bolts, spacers if needed etc? I suppose I could call them but you guys know best. Read somewhere else that...

Not yet :( I'm kinda slow (and for some reason the wife dosen't understand why the van needs lowering and new wheels, but I've been working on it) I spend a bit of time checking out what's around :D Just got a new JK awning, have to find a place to try and put that up. Only big piece of greenery aro...
