Re: Heater hose size
Cannot find my recent search finds in the topic. IIRC the hose ID is 19mm and the flange is 25mm. There is a generic Gates hose in the us, which is the same size and all inline 4 vw engines had the same heater hose size so I assume there is an aftermarket available here too. E D I T: Gates 18965 is ...

Re: flickering battery light / replace regulator?
11.44V is a really low battery. They might be damaged being not charged properly for a long time. Try to charge them up with a mains charger first.

Re: flickering battery light / replace regulator?
The exciter circuit (dash light) gives power to the outer coils. Without that the magnetic field cannot build up (excite) and the inner rotating coils not generating power.

Hopefully the connector on the alternator is not too damaged.

Re: flickering battery light / replace regulator?
You could de-pin the old connector and crimp/solder on a new one, but it is more convenient to buy a new connector pigtail and crimp/solder the wires together. The connector should come off by pressing in the metal locking ears on the side and pull the connector. Try to spray some WD40 or similar to...

Re: flickering battery light / replace regulator?
Voltage shpuld be more close to 14V measured to battery. Those numbers look really low.
We can assume the alternator is not charging.
Check the D+ (blue) wire. Corrosion or partly broken wire could cause the alternator not being excited.

Re: Brake reservoir missing something
Your cap top is broke off. You need a new cap https://www.busdepot.com/media/catalog/product/cache/8ab1f14c829aeba215c7022199b986a0/4/4/443611349A.jpg https://brickwerks.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2023/06/1161200100.jpg https://brickwerks.co.uk/product/brake-fluid-reservoir-cap-t3-with-level-s...

AFAIK there were some CCW turning coolant pumps on Skoda motors, but the CW is the most common.

Re: Rear Outer Wheel Bearing - Too Deep?
Seal position is fine.
Bearing oter race should be level with the housing ridge as Samba post says.
You are fine if the spacer can move sideways under the bearing. The inner race is quite wide so it has big tolerance.

Re: Whitestar 1.9TDi 1z won’t start.
Is it e-tdi? Are there any fault codes in the ecu?
It should start even glow plugs are not working.
The fuel shutoff solenoid or its wire might failed. Does the ecu has power and ground?

Re: Oil pressure switch
Not sure how you would test the pressure? Get an oil pressure meter gauge, thread in place of the sender and start the engine. Check the repair manual for test rpm and values. BW is a good place to buy the switches, however your local motor factor should have them too. https://brickwerks.co.uk/blog...

This Samba topic says you can use some kind of that pedal assembly on an AHU ecu.

Re: Interior lights delay relay
It must be an SA thing.
Late Multivans had interior lamps with built in timer eletronic. I did see some of those.
