Thanks for the advice, I have whipped it out and will tread the local tarmac today and see what i can find.

There is still a rat race down here but it just goes a lot slower and we seem to have a lot more time to sit about drinking wine and beer and talking about our vans.

Hey glynn how did you go with this as i have the exact same situation. I was advised to keep the solex under the dont fix it if it aint broke theory.
