Pop up side door
Hi Folks, I've started tidying the bodywork of my van, I bought it as a resto project some time ago but as usual family & work life got in the way and hit a standstill a while back, I've got back into things over the weekend and want to get stuck in now. It's a 1990 twin slider bus that we plan ...

Re: Square Headlamp
Hi Si,
I've been thinkin the same way, that a left hooker lamp with a beam bender is going to have to be the way to go for the time being, just thought I'd have one last go at trying to find a UK lamp.
Thanks

Square Headlamp
Hi, does anyone know of an alternative lamp that can be used as I'm having no luck finding an O/S lamp for my van, been busy renewing the brakes and suspension over the last while and am getting closer to the new year when it's time to get the van back on the road. If anybody has a suggestion for a ...

Rear spring seats
Hi, I'm currently rebuilding my suspension and brakes, on stripping it down I've found the lower spring seats on both sides of the van have worn through, these are the plasticy discs that sit on top of the trailing arm, under the spring. They don't seem to be available from any of the usual places a...

Radius rod nut
Hi,
Can anyone tell me the size of the Front Radius rod nut as I don't have a socket big enough to fit it and with all the rust and crud surounding it I want to buy the right socket rather than guessing and getting it wrong.
Cheers
Craig

Re: I'd love any opinions on these shocks/springs; anyone tried?
Hi, I have been watching the same set-up and havn't been sure myself but as I am carrying a full suspension and brake rebuild among other things I really need to keep an eye on the budget. Seeing the reviews that have been posted here I do feel more confident about buying this set-up, however I have...

HELP 2.0 Aircooled CU engine
Hi folks I recently bought a 1981 2.0 Aircooled camper, however I bought it with the engine removed and striped and apparently all ready to be put back together with new big end bearings, Engel camshaft and followers and all packed neatly away in a range of boxes, biscuit tins and wrapped up rags. S...

Rebuilding
Hi guys, I've just recently picked up an "81 2 litre Aircooled Devon Moonraker hightop, basicially the camper has been stripped down to a rolling shell and the engine removed and stripped for inspection by the previous owner who had to sell as he had lost his storage. I had been looking for a p...
