Is there a simple adjustment for this, or is it more complex? idle speed when warm is fine, around 90...

Re: Wales (South)
So many fantastic places down here. This place is a good half day out especially if you've got younger kids cos they can pan for gold. Not too far from Aberystwyth. http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-vh/w-visits/w-findaplace/w-dolaucothigoldmines.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);re...

Re: Brickwerks carb refurb kit
If i remember, when i did mine the answer was to put two washers on the float jet (the small fibre washers) ie use the old one and the new one. I think mine had a steel washer as the original. I also put a very very thin layer of gasket sealant when fitting the top half of the carb to the bottom. It...

fitted some roof bars
After much deliberation / worry i've just fitted some roof bars to my westy pop top to carry our surfboards. No problems encountered really, just measure...check....measure....check then measure and check again. Doesn't look to bad i think! total cost was about £100 Measure. http://www.muchos.co.uk/...

We always stay at Cherry Tree Farm campsite.
Ideal location between the beach and the village centre.
No electric hook up,but good toilet/shower blocks.
Highly recommended.

Re: gear change probs/clutch
update:
garage diagnosed problem within the gearbox, clutch was worn but ok.
they fitted a s/h gearbox, new oil and a new clutch. they've tested it and say it is fine, no noises or clunks.3 month warranty.
will be collecting it tomorrow.
cost £450. ouch!

Re: Sticky clutch???
Mine's going in to a garage on Wed(Cardiff Aircooled). He says £175 plus cost of clutch ( £80) plus VAT.
Doesn't sound too bad . I'd try myself but just don't have time.
Just got to transport it there 12 miles! Hmmmmm.

Re: gear change probs/clutch
When was it last changed?
I dont think its ever been changed.....its only done 75000 miles .
Clutch hasnt been slipping and always felt good, but in the last few weeks its been getting more difficult changing, especially to a lower gear.
today it wont change down at all!
Thanks for your replies.
