Quick question again...The short metal pipe that goes through the engine bay to connect the rubber hoses has rusted through, it is only a short piece and i was woundering what the dimensions were to order a piece up or if anyone knows where to obtain it

Right starter fitted and starting great, idles a lot better now so i think the pipes being refitted have helped...Don't know if it is me but it seems to be more knocking than the usual and it lacks power anybody got any suggestions as i have reached the limits of my knowledge/ability or does anybody...

I have not tried it yet mate as the starter motor has also gone so i am waiting to pick one up on monday, i will let you know when i have fitted it

would this effect the running of the van if it was not fitted

Hi I am going to sound a right numpty now, but on the air cleaner there are 2 small outlets one of which has a pipe going to a round part on the air box the other is empty. now there is a pipe in the engine comparment that is not connected to anything either end, Please can some kind person tell me ...

Total beginner at my own repairs, just looking at the brakes on my van and i have noticed that the hand brake adjuster under the van is not attached to the bodywork. Is this right as it is swinging about like nobodies business ?
any help would be great
