Just been away in the van this weekend and noticed an issue with the front drivers side brake On Friday noticed a wee bit of smoke coming from it put it down to the van being parked up for a couple of weeks and just sticking. Well the W/E is now in ruins fuel pump has died and GSF dont have any in

Need one for a 2ltr A/C been advised by GSF that most are now fitting an electric pump is this the case and were to get one from?

For oil seals etc I'd go to an engineering shop that sells bearings etc and get seals made by Rolf they are made in Germany and often much better than OEM

Have you tried freeing them? if they are stuck solid might be worth sticking some diesel in them and letting it soak for a few days

Nope there is a place called monkey world there's a programme on TV about it. Also take them to the tank muesum next door that's a great day out as well. As for the Fridge checked the fuse on the zig unit for it?

Take the screws and fixings out mark them in small bags were they came from take lots of pics...problem solved

Standard alternator for yours is 45amp I'm fitting a 90amp one to mine and plan to have 2 batteries for power in the van

Got an 81 A/C not usre if engine is original but what should the top speed be? it's just had new heads fitted and some tinware still missing so I didn't want to nail it did reach the giddy speeds of 50mph on occasion what should it be and what should be a safe cruising speed on M/way etc

FFrom someone who works in the cable industry straighten out a wire coathanger and tape the cable to one end then shove it through :wink:

Ha another jock from Preston I'm ex Bamber Bridge! save yourself the hassle just buy a van with it already done gtills seem to go for £150+ alone never mind adding in the lights I got mines with the van 8)

I take it if I don't have the cables and I leave them open all the heat will come straight through and I won't be able to control it via the dash?
