Hi!! Hells Mouth beach in Abersoch, Wales is good. You get a few vans camping there in the car park in the winter months, not sure if u could get away with it in summer though. ANd its a great surf beach when its on too!!

Hi guys, the turbo on our engine has gone and we need to replace it. We're in sheffield and I was wondering if anyone knows of a local breaker or somewhere we can get a cheap 2nd hand part from?? Our vans had an engine transplant and is now a 1994 passat 1.9 turbo diesel.

Brilliant, thanks loads for the reply. I'll take some photos and put them up this afternoon. We do have a dipstick that we could cut down so we could easily replace the oil and cut the dipstick accordingly. Update on the dipstick saga...... We have now learnt that the dipstick we had behind the reg plate isn't in fact the original. Instead of being long on metal and fitting at the top of the gap behind the reg plate it was in the oil tube itself on the right hand side. To be honest I am completely comf...

lol sorry if that was confusing. Yes the one for the passat engine is in the engine bay but its the one behind the number plate that we're trying to replace, hope that makes more sense, any ideas where I can get one??
