My mates 82 did, but it didn't have dim dip. Switch has a hole on the back for a bulb holder on mine but no bulb or wiring for it. Golfs of the same era had light up switches.

Welcome by the way
Any chance of a piccy? Bit loathed to spend £20+ for a piece of plastic.

Re: Dim dip headlight wiring diagram

Nice one. :)

Do only headlight switches without the dim/dip function light up when the ignition is turned on? Your diagram doesn't show the illumination that the haynes version (without dim/dip) does. :?

Re: Confrimation of Windscreen Rust

Mines leaking in the same place. Have put off doing it though as i've no undercover space to work in at the moment and don't want to risk running out of dry weather to complete it in one day. :( Brickwerks sell a nice repair panel for the windscreen corners if you aren't up to fabricating your own p...

Dim dip headlight wiring diagram

Has anyone got a wiring diagram showing the dip dip headlight wiring?

Haynes seems to omit it from their watercooled manual.

Re: 2700cc WBX?!!!

There was an article in a vw magazine recently about fitting 100mm B&Ps into an Aircooled case showing the machining nessesary. 88+ mm stroker cranks are being used in Aircooled stuff so i'm assuming it could be possible with a WBX case too as they aren't that different. Looking forwards to seei...

Re: AGG in an automatic.

Rowlesy on brickyard had an adapter plate made up for about £70 and used the wbx flex plate with the golf centre welded in. http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/crew-cab-double-cab-doka_topic33347.html I think a golf flex plate modified slightly to fit the wbx torque converter might work too if you got...

Mine sits just slightly above the LED, though it was dead on it before I changed the thermostat and temperature sensors. :?

You might find the prices have gone up a bit now its the time to use winter tyres. They've gone up £12 a tyre at my local place and theres no stock and no delivery date either. Not that i can afford them anyway.
