Brown moor is closest, but a little sterile. I prefer the one next door to the green dragon pub in hardraw, just the other side of the river... Clean amenities, but no fixed pitches etc...

See if you can make it as far as hawes... some great pubs, a waterfall, couple of decent campsites...

hello i had a very similar problem, which i traced to a split in the header tank. after changing for a new VW header tank and putting a new VW dalek cap on, then bleeding the coolant system, all problems ceased... cost about £50 for parts and was easy to do myself. i remember it looked to all intent...

have you lot never heard of the camping and caravan club? :roll: dont be put off by the name, its more campers and motorhomes than shed draggers.... And nopt to be confused with The Caravan Club :lol: Info about C & C C here when we first got our van we stayed at a few of both caravan and campi...

Good looking van there oj - if you want any pointers on where to find the rust - I am your guide! Also am from York originally - was back there t'other week to see folks. they look pretty similar! i imagine the hard-top is pretty useful for you guys though, judging by al the child-related paraphern...

your trip sounds great plymat - i remember goingto lacanau as a kid in a trailer tent - stayed in a big forest in a place called bombannes - loads of cycle tracks right to the beach... brilliant! i was wondering about the aires - are they really ok, or are they a bit on the rough side? i have heard ...
