A nut splitter won't do any good - it's the head of the bolt. The only way will be from t'other end worst luck.Get the plasters ready for the skinned knuckles! (At least it won't need a spanner on to stop it turning whilst you undo the nut!) The only other way is delicate work with an angle grinder...
