Truma heater

my father in law has had a rather expensive quote to repair his heater, it is a Truma 4 E Combi anyone here know of anyone or anywhere that does repairs on these, it is out of a Swift Motor Home, they told him it was frost damage but he is not so sure so a second opinion may be in order, thanks

just emailed them again but with the details of when and where it was fitted and just going to wait to see what they say, probably will be after Christmas now but have managed to stop the silencer box wobbling around on it's own for now, but looking at the bracket that has snapped it looks like it s...

it seems the 'mounting bracket' has broken and that has led to the silencer box weld to crack as it has wobbled slightly with the excess movement

anyone had trouble getting hold of the above company,I have emailed them and tried phoning them but it just keeps ringing, I want to try and find out what the warranty is on their stainless systems as mine has cracked unless anybody here knows what the warranty is, thanks

never really noticed the 'Autosleeper lean' on my van will have to have a good look at it, it has been lowered and the previous owner had all the suspension work done at Brickwerks so maybe it was sorted there but will keep an eye on this interesting post as well, keep up the good work Kev !!

get yourself a pair of Landrover Defender 110 wing mirrors and a pair of brackets from 'Rowsley' from here or Brickyard,makes a huge difference

it will be a two man job as you will need to drill a couple of holes through the back of the awning and through the brackets, that's what I did anyway

mine has a metal 'flap'type thing that just pushes up to stop the window moving, it is the same type of thing on the slider window by the sink
