Thanks for that itchyfeet, a quick check seems about €35 per piston for those two. Hmm maybe id be better sticking a bit extra in and getting new barrels and pistons!!

I wonder if anyone knows where I can get a set of 94.5mm piston rings for a 2.0l CU ? I've looked everywhere and no one seems to do them. If not, how horrendous will the 1.7mm ring gaps that the standards give me be ?!

Will the heat exchangers need to come off ? the engine will only go up about 30mm before they hit the support bar.

Hi , i need to replace my mounts. how can u do it without dropping the engine? if you could give me details that would be great.
