It didnt fail but was just sticky and looked really bad. I think it was something around £600 but that was some years ago probably 15years ish

My LPG ws installed hundreds of years ago by thr late great Steve Shaw Gasure. It stopped running today, and it appears that the shutoff solonoid on the vapouriser isnt being energised. Yep im afraid its age degredation. I had the very same thing happen to our devon some years ago. Cant be fixed, I had a new roof bellows made by a guy who I dont think is around now cant remember the name but will have a think. He was in Upton on Severn did upholstery mostly but did a brilliant job.

I am at the same point keep killing lead acid batteries and looking at LIFPo4 100ah battery and b to b setup. Whats the thoughts on a 20amp b to b for a standard cu engine output? What about a 20amp setup at about £145 from ebay I use a fold up solar panel when parked up.

Thanks guys for all the advise. I HAVE A WORKING FUEL GUAGE!!! The answer was the 10v voltage stabiliser had gone, not only that but the circuit board where it attaches had disintigrated! Each to there own but I love the Tolimans, 7.5 x 16 with 215 60 16 on the 2lite Aircooled and 7 x 16 with 205 80 16 A/Ts on the syncro. No problems at all.
