Re: welding price

Still a lot of money but far less than the original quote so its worth checking out some other welders in the a...

Re: My Build so far... Home Brew

That looks brilliant. Gonna be stripping mine out over the winter, so its good to see it is "doable" esp if as you say you just "gave it a go" which is what I will be doing (jigsaw at ready - stand back  ) I have a mate who is a carpenter said he will give me some tips if I ...

Re: brake problem

brake problem

on the way back from Wales last weekend I realised  that I had been drivng with the handbrake on (ok, its easy done   ), rectified this immediately but when I went to brake for a roundabout the pedal just hit the floor - no brakes - pumped the pedal = brakes. This happened a couple...

Re: Knocking at front of van - found the problem

Dropped the wheel today to see if the knocking was caused by the fan...it isnt...the fan is ok, spins freely , its not bent up and there is nothing fouling it. Found that the source of the problem is actually the radiator moving because one of the support brackets is rusted through and the other is ...

Knocking at front of van - intermittent

I have an intermittent knocking from the front of the van....happens usually after a long journey, the van doesnt overheat but starts to smell "rubber hosey" then this hellish knocking starts, if I cut the engine it continues for about 30 seconds then stops. When I restart the van the prob...

Re: front wheel bearings?

I think 2 hours is too long for this job, have never had them done on the van but have had them done on various cars and I honestly dont think any of them took more than an hour. I was told once by a garage that I had to have rear breaks and bearings done and that would take 4 hours because he had t...
