think im getting 38mpg with aaz driving careful. love it beats 19 with dg! Roughly 38mpg equivalent on LPG with a 1.9DG around tooon 8) ya know cruz your right knowing what i do now about the diesel swap i would have chose lpg, to Me it seemed happier with the old dg . . if only i didn't have to us...

yep just checked again over last 200 mile i getting 37.9mpg. wonder weather it will increase much on a motorway run?

i fill mine by a large Allen key bung, right hand side of box, just above gear selector. as manual says. fill till it spills out. as advised by vw. hope that helps?

Not sure of ratios on the petrol box u had in before but im sure if you stick the diesel bell housing and input shaft on your petrol box ul find it much better. so aaz 1.9td and intercooled versions what are you getting mpg wise? are you using chip oil? be nice to gather everyone's results and vies.

thanks to everyone fore the input. there is something i am interested in, a crown wheel and pinion kit. just dont know were to purchase one from? cost isn't a issue i just need to get my hands on one fore either the abd box or the dy has anyone doe this or know were to buy one?

yep mine did to on other engine with syn before it blew, also run out of hydraulic buckets quicker and gave that nasty clack more often.

ok guys this has me stumper got a black sender from vw the one listed for t25 you guesed it still flashes now i removed old sender it has a pressure range of 0.15-0.45 bar got part number and that senders only used on a one model only audi! ok so get the feeling of a kinda bodge here now am thinkin...

i got durite 1000w it grate got a remote to! i had it 2 years now and use it to power a household 800w microwave on a truck 1000amp battery under seat. could be seen as over kill but it allows me to do electric free sites literally every day without battery going flat, split charge obviously. and a ...

by all means you are free to put in wot you like, and fore some that often none at all, hehe right my hand book, the haynes manual, and a vw mech i spoke to today, ow and the engine shop, all state MULTIGRADE engine oil to api sf sg, vw 501 01 or equivalent, so there it is. said by the maker himself...

what is the crack with not using a semi or fully synthetic oil? i dont understand that remark as the ratings can be grately inproved from 0w/40 or 10w/60 and many more. all synthetic based oils will exceed vw stated API rating, how can a thiner oil at start up (reducing oil preashure) and easyer fl...
